Our physicians treat a full range of pediatric cardiovascular disorders, including congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, Kawasaki disease, marfan syndrome, hyperlipidemia and cardiac arrhythmias. We also work closely with perinatologists to provide immediate care for newborns. As an alternative to surgery, interventional catheterization is used to treat patients with such problems as atrial septal defects (ASD) or patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). For other, more complex types of congenital heart disease, we perform a comprehensive range of catheter procedures to properly diagnose and recommend surgical treatment.
